Adrian George
Drs Don Radford and Adrian George hold PhD degrees and have extensive experience in teaching and research in a university environment. It is significant that they were awarded the University of Sydney Vice Chancellor’s Award for Supporting the Student Experience (2011) for their work developing and implementing the Preliminary Chemistry Course (‘Bridging Course’). Over a period of 25 years the course resources have been modified, edited and improved and are now presented as this text. Combined, the authors have had more than 100 years of experience teaching basic chemistry at first year University level.
In addition, Don Radford is the author of more than 20 papers on chemistry and microbiology.
